Tropical Summer Smoothie

Hey busy mama’s!

With summer in full swing, we are loving the warm sunny days. Nothing feels like summer more than feasting on sweet summer fruits like peaches and watermelon. My kids and I came up with this new Tropical Summer Smoothie that encapsulates the flavors of summer fruit with the added bonus of including protein from milk, yogurt, hemp seeds and spinach.

Yield 3-4 cups

  • 4 cups tropical fruits (for example, watermelon, pineapple, peach, kiwi, strawberries)
  • 1 cup organic whole milk or non-dairy milk of your choice
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt or non-dairy yogurt of your choice
  • 1 tbsp. hemp seeds
  • 1 tbsp. maple syrup
  • Baby spinach, handful
  • 4 ice cubes
